Maureen J. “Deni” Patenaude – 78

STILLWATER – Maureen J. “Deni” Patenaude, 78, of Neilson Ave., died Wednesday evening, Oct. 9th, at home, after an extended illness, in the loving company of her family.

Born in Mechanicville, April 1, 1935, daughter of the late Philip and Jane Montgomery Walsh, Deni graduated from Stillwater High School in 1953.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 2 PM at All Saints on the Hudson South Church, 121 No. Main St., Mechanicville. Burial in Saratoga National Cemetery.

Calling hours at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Kenneth D. Patenaude – 89

STILLWATER- Kenneth D. Patenaude, 89, longtime resident of Hudson Ave., died Saturday, August 17th at home, after being stricken.

Born in Mechanicville, Sept. 21, 1923, son of the late William and Florence Patenaude, Ken enlisted in the US Navy during WWII, serving aboard the USS Upham APD-99, in the Atlantic Theater and Mediterranean Sea.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years Louise Gaudette Patenaude, daughter Deborah (Bob Hagadorn) Patenaude, son Kenneth R. (Phyllis) Patenaude and granddaughter Rebecca Patenaude all of Stillwater, sister Doris Petronis of Mechanicville and brother Earl Patenaude of Cal., along with many nieces, nephews and their families.

Ken was also predeceased by sisters Lydia DeLaRosa, Evelyn Bolton, Connie Rush and brothers Lionel, LeRoy, Wilford and Arnold Patenaude.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 11:30 AM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville.  Burial with military honors at Saratoga NationalCemetery.

Calling hours at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-8 PM.
