Yolanda M. Palmer - 76

MECHANICVILLE – Yolanda M. Palmer, 76, of County Route 75, died early Saturday morning, October 11, 2014 at Samaritan Hospital as a result of pancreatic cancer.  Born May 19, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Madalena Palmer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 11AM at All Saints on the Hudson South Church, 121 N Main St., Mechanicville, NY 12118 with burial to follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery.  A Calling Hour will be held prior to the mass from 10-11AM at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’sResearch Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105 in loving memory of Yolanda M. Palmer.

Garrett J. Geurtze, III – 82

MECHANICVILLE – Garrett J. Geurtze, III, 82 of Saratoga Ave., died Tuesday, Sept. 30th at Saratoga Hospital, following an extended illness.

A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, Oct. 5th at 5 PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville. Calling hours at the Funeral Home on Sunday from 3-5 PM.

MECHANICVILLE – Jacqueline M. Ronda, 56, of No Main St., died suddenly Monday, Sept 29th, at home, as a result of a fall in her residence.

Timothy J. Keyes – 64

 

SCHAGHTICOKE -Timothy J. Keyes of Stillwater Bridge Road passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2014. He was 64.

Relatives and friends may call from 11:30am-12:30pm on Tuesday, September 30 at the Transfiguration Parish, 17 South Main Street, Schaghticoke. Funeral Mass will be conducted at 12:30pm. Burial will be in the family plot in St. John's Cemetery, Schaghticoke.

Joyce E. Fear – 61

Wilton, NY - Joyce E. Fear, 61, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014, peacefully in her home after a 6 ½ year courageous battle with Metastatic Breast Cancer.  She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, optimism and everlasting spirit in the hearts of all those who were blessed to have known and loved her.

Norma Shoemaker Curtis – 75

Tomhannock - Norma Shoemaker Curtis was called home to the arms of her savior on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 after a long illness. She was 75.

 

 

Relatives and friends may call from 5-6:30pm on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at the United Church of Cohoes, 132 Mohawk Street, Cohoes. A memorial service will be conducted at 6:30 at the church.
