Jennifer Senecal-Mott – 42

MECHANICVILLE – Jennifer Senecal-Mott, 42, of Harris Ave., died unexpectedly Sunday, Nov. 18th, at Albany Medical Center, after suffering a brain hemorrhage the day before.

Born in Saratoga Springs, Sept. 7, 1970, he is the daughter of James Senecal, Sr. and his wife Linda Rose Senecal of Stillwater, and the late Yvonne Crammond Senecal.

Robert F. Walsh – 57

STILLWATER-Robert F. Walsh of Stillwater passed away on November 16, 2012. He was 57.  Born in Bronxville on February 14, 1955, he is a son of the late Edward E. and Jane F. (White ) Walsh.

Bob was a Branch Manager at VP Plumbing, formerly Aird Dorrance in Ballston Lake. In earlier years he enjoyed restoring European sports cars and he loved the Hudson River, he was especially fond his time fly fishing there.

Anthony F. “Tut” Zappone – 88

MECHANICVILLE – Anthony F. “Tut” Zappone, 88,  native and lifelong resident of Mechanicville, died early Monday morning, Nov. 19th a Baptist Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Scotia, in the loving company of his three daughters.

Born November 16, 1924, he was son of the late Michael and Mary Veraldi Zappone.

During WWII, Tut proudly joined the US Marine Corps, serving in the Pacific Theatre of operations, as an anti-aircraft machine gun crewman.

Francis J. DeVito – 84

MECHANICVILLE – Francis J. DeVito, 84, of No. Third Ave., died Friday morning, Nov. 16th, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Troy following a short illness.

A native and lifelong resident of Mechanicville, born June 24, 1928, son of the late Orlando and Mary Valentino DeVito, Sr., he was a 1945 graduate of Mechanicville High School.  A US Army Korean veteran, he served with 50thArmy Field Artillery Anti Aircraft unit in Korea for over a year.

A Funeral Mass will be held Monday at Noon at All Saints on the Hudson SouthChurch (St. Paul’s) 121 No. Main ST., Mechanicville.   Burial with military honors at the Saratoga National Cemetery.

Calling hours at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville on Sunday from 3-6 PM.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Community Hospice of Rensselaer County in loving memory of Francis J. DeVito.

Anna Sluti Durante – 87

MECHANICVILLE – Anna Sluti Durante, 87, of Hemstreet Park, died at home, Monday, Nov 12th, after being stricken.

A native and lifelong area resident, daughter of the late Michael and Susie Sluti, and wife of the late Ralph Durante, who died in 1991. A homemaker, Anna had worked years ago for Galante Paper and Stillwater Knitting Mill.

Rosemarie Gemmiti Corbett -74

 

MECHANICVILLE – Rosemarie Gemmiti Corbett, 74, of Riverside Park North, died Saturday evening at home, Oct. 27th, after a brief battle with respiratory ailments, in the loving company of her family.

Born in Mechanicville,  and longtime resident of South Main St., Rosemarie was born March 15, 1938, daughter of the late Saratoga County Commissioner of Social Services Joseph V. and wife Fanny Conte Gemmiti.

Mrs. Nancy M. Gandron – 78

 

MECHANICVILLE – Mrs. Nancy M. Gandron, 78, of River Road, HemstreetPark, died Thursday evening, Nov. 8th, at Albany Medical Center, from complications resulting from a fall the previous day.

A native and lifelong resident of Mechanicville, born January 13, 1934, daughter of the late Joseph and Caroline Pitcheralle, she was a Mechanicville High School graduate, Class of 1951.
