Yukon is a 9-year old Rottweiler possibly mixed with Bernese Mountain Dog. He is very sociable and loves people of all ages. He often smiles at his foster mom (a full, teeth-baring grin that is definitely a smile). He will occasionally approach strangers and smile at them too! He is mellow but does likes to play. He loves walks and car rides. Yukon is housebroken and gets along well with most very small male dogs and with female dogs of any size. Yukon will not be placed in a home with cats, rabbits or other small house pets. He would prefer to live in a home with a fenced in yard. Like all HOPE pets, Yukon is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.. He's pretty mild mannered and gets along with other polite dogs. Yukon's feline foster-sis is teaching him how to live with cats.

At 9 years old, Yukon is eligible for our Senior to Senior program (adoption fee waived for qualified applicants 65 years and over).

Marius is an eight month old charming, lovable kitten. He and his sisters were rescued from a barn trying to survive the brutal cold of the winter. His foster mom spent many days slowly rehabilitating him. He has gone from a frightened feral kitten to the sweetest, most affectionate one of his litter. Marius enjoys sleeping on top of your head, lulling you to sleep with his boisterous purring. He also loves to rub his face against yours; making sure to give you plenty of kisses. Marius needs a home where he can receive all the affection he deserves (and it is quite a lot!) He enjoys playing with cats of all ages and gets along well with dogs. Marius is neutered and up to date on his shots.

Addie is a lovely, long haired tortie cat that loves to be near her person. She really enjoys a frisky romp chasing her toys — a crinkly pink crescent moon is her favorite, tossing it up in the air she makes her own fun and she is also training her foster dad to fetch. Addie likes to sit in your lap 1-2 hours in the evening watching baseball. (She may be a Yankees fan.) Addie's motto is: If there's a lap, I'm on it!

At 9 years old Addie qualifies for HOPE's free Senior-to-Senior program. All HOPE cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on their shots, and have tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV.
