VALLEY FALLS - Ida May Bushway passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at her residence on Poplar Avenue. She was 88.

Relatives and friends may call from 11am-1pm on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 173 Main Street, Schaghticoke. Funeral service will be conducted at 1pm in the funeral home with burial in Tomhannock Cemetery.

STILLWATER - Rosemary Lake Kinisky of Hudson Avenue passed away at her home surrounded by family on Friday, September 8, 2017 after an extended illness. She was 84.

STILLWATER - The tireless hands of Howard James Baker, born January 5, 1933, have finally come to rest after having passed on Monday, September 4, 2017.

Relatives and friends may call from 9:00-11:30am on Friday, September 8, 2017 at All Saints on the Hudson Church (St. Peter’s Church). Funeral mass will be conducted at 11:30am. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Stillwater.

A heartfelt Thank-You to the staff of the ICCU at Saratoga Hospital for their exceptional care of Howard, and their compassion and attention to addressing the needs of his family during his stay.

VALLEY FALLS - Ruth Anne Fox, 74, of Valley Falls took the hand of the Lord on August 26, 2017, following a long illness. Born May 19, 1943, in Pleasantdale, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Estelle Koch.

Relatives and friends may call from 3-4 p.m. on Sunday, September 3, 2017, at Melrose United Methodist Church, 20 Church Street, Melrose. A Memorial Service will follow immediately afterwards.

SHAGHTICOKE - William Frederick Wheelock of North Washington Avenue passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017. He was 91.

Dorothy A. Edwards – 98

JOHNSONVILLE - Dorothy A. Edwards died on July 3, 2017 at home with her daughter by her side. She was 98 years old. Born in Valley Falls on the family farm on January 29, 1919 to the late Charles H. and Ellen (Aspinell) Edwards.

 

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date, to celebrate Dorothy’s life. Carol would like to thank the Community Hospice, especially the nurses and staff who lovingly cared for her Mother.
