H.O.P.E. Pets for Adoption

imageBrady is an active 3-year old neutered male Border Collie/Lab mix, who is up to date on his shots and micro-chipped. He is a very loving and loyal dog who needs room to run. Brady is house trained and if you place a small bell on the door, he will ring it when he needs to go out! He is good with kids and dogs and is crate trained.

image-1Bentley is a 3-year old neutered male Pomeranian, who is up to date on his shots and micro-chipped. He likes to ride in the car and is good with older children and other small dogs, though he does not seem to be fond of cats. Bentley is house trained and walks well on a leash.

image-2Marley is a playful, fun two year old tabby cat. She was discovered as a nine month old kitten on a country road riddled with fleas and starving. From the time she arrived at her foster home she has been a doll. She rubs against people, encouraging them to pet her. She loves to hitch a ride on shoulders whenever the opportunity arises. Marley enjoys being wherever people are. She loves to be around other cats and is great with dogs.

For more information about Marley, please contact her foster mother, Karla, at redefinedesign@excite.com.

H.O.P.E Pets for Adoption

imageRed is a very handsome and well-mannered Bloodhound. He is a fit 'n trim 90 pounds and is believed to be 3-5 years old. Red is neutered, up to date on his shots, and micro-chipped. Red's foster was told by his previous owner that Red was trained in Search & Rescue. He knows all of the standard commands and likely others related to S&R. He seems to get along with everyone: people/kids, cats, and other dogs.

Red is available for adoption or for foster (his current foster home is 1 hour away from us, which makes it harder to get him to adoption events).

image-1Gus is an 8-year old Border Collie mix who is neutered and up to date on his shots. He is a smart, active dog who would love someone to run or hike with. Gus loves to be with his owners the most. He enjoys going for long walks, hiking, and playing fetch with any type of ball. He is a very loyal and protective dog who is under voice command. He loves to herd his family while running off his leash. He enjoys playing fetch and learns very quickly. He understands the words- come, sit, stay, wait, down, bed, and outside.  After a long active day, Gus will curl up next to you at night; he loves taking naps by the fire. He will also put himself to bed if he gets too tired! He sleeps on either a dog bed, human bed, or by the bedroom door and loves to sleep in!

Gus is good with other dogs and would do best in a home without young children.

image-2Sam is as friendly as he is fluffy (and he is VERY fluffy), is neutered, and up to date on his shots. This 8-year old handsome Maine Coon mix is a charming, well-mannered companion who loves headbutts and being scratched under the chin; in return, he will gently lick your hand. He is very active, clean, and a purr machine. Sam will warm your heart and your home!

image-3Marcy is a 3-year old, gray long-haired spayed female who is up to date on her shots. Marcy is small for her age, causing many to consider her a kitten. She gets along with everybody and can fits in any environment. Marcy has a very small tail that seems to be only half as long as it should be. She loves attention and will just curl up in your lap and hang out with you. For the last few years, Marcy had been living outside in an abandoned barn with a colony of other cats. She welcomed the chance to come inside and be fed and cared for by her foster family. Please give Miss Marcy the great life she deserves.

He was found living in a parking lot with his Mum and 2 siblings (see adoptable HOPE cat Mum).

image-1Jillian is a six year old elegant gray and buff tiger. She will tolerate other cats  but seems to be more interested in making friends with small dogs! Jillian loves to drink from faucets and is happy sitting next to you on the couch as you watch television. She is healthy, spayed, up to date on all her vaccinations and waiting for a loving home!

image-2Holly is a 10 year old Yorkie who's a very spunky little girl. She runs around and jumps up on your lap like a young dog! She's spayed and up-to-date on all shots. She loves other dogs and they love her! Holly knows what she wants and will tell you: If she has to go out she looks at you and whines...If she wants to lay down next to you under a blanket, she whines! She has the cutest little face and will steal your heart. She is fragile at 8.5 Lbs. and therefore would not be good with small children. She has been through a lot and has come through with flying colors! In that respect, she has a strong will to live and is a tough little girl.

imageJanice and her kitten were found in an abandoned building and were brought to HOPE so that they would have a chance of finding real, loving homes. Janice is a sweet, petite girl who, at around 7 years old, qualifies for our senior to senior program. She is quite but definitely enjoys being petted, talked to, and keeping you company.

Janice tolerates being held and seems like a rather self-sufficient little girl! She is big into toys and loves to play. When Janice is feeling stressed, she can swipe out with her paw or growl, which is why we feel a calm, adult-only home would be best for her.

H.O.P.E. Pets for Adoption

Ginger is a smaller 4+ year-old spayed husky mix. She's up to date on vaccinations, very sweet and playful. Ginger likes to play with other dogs and she's housebroken. She will make a fine companion!

Sweet Savanna is a lovely 2 year old female German Shepherd who's good with other dogs. She is timid with people and is more comfortable with women. She is a smart girl and is likely to gain confidence from training activities. A confident, gentle lady to help her learn that people aren't so scary would be a good match for Savanna. She will warm up to considerate men too. She is up to date on vaccinations and spayed. Savanna is a beauty!

Daisy is an extremely sweet black and white 1-year old female, who is soft as a bunny. She is very affectionate but still a bit shy. She wants to be held and cuddled but she's not sure who is safe just yet. Daisy is a purring machine and very playful! She loves catnip mice and likes hiding in a cat tunnel. She's very good at using the scratching post and hasn't scratched any furniture. Daisy gets along well with other cats and has lived with a large dog. She likes to rub against people and other cats.

Patches LOVES to be petted and is a very affectionate, cool cat. He's a big-headed, beautiful boy with caramel eyes! Super playful, he likes to toss his toys and plays hard! Patches favors the lady-critters, he is not so keen on male cats or dogs. He was found living outdoors but, even at 6 years old, has transitioned just fine to being an indoor cat (required for all HOPE cats). All HOPE pets are spayed/neutered and up to date on shots.

He needs someone to help him trim down a bit. At 8 years old, Yukon is eligible for our Senior to Senior program (no adoption fee for a person over 65). He's a brilliant & loyal boy!

image-2Garrett is a little lovey Yorkie who is about 9 years old. He's tiny and sweet and needs a lot of TLC because his legs are a bit wobbly! He would prefer to potty inside on a wee wee pad. Garrett will be free to a qualified senior (no adoption fee for a person over 65).

imageAndy is a very sweet, mature lady who is housebroken and gets along well with children, dogs, and cats. She looks to be a Lab/Collie mix and, as with all HOPE pets, is up to date on her shots. Andy is a young 10 years old so she would be free to a senior adopter (65+).

imageRyder is about 2 years old and appears to be a Collie/Border Collie mix. He is affectionate with people he knows and who are calm & gentle with him. Ryder is playful and would do well with another dog who is confident, but not overwhelming. Ryder may be a good agility candidate; he has tried it and did well. This dog is a smart one who will likely be very happy to be engaged with all kinds of tasks/activities/jobs. He is looking for a home without younger kids. Of course, Ryder is neutered and up to date on shots.

imageBobby is a 5-month old black male cat. It's hard to see in the pictures, but he has a cute, little stubby tail- about 2" long! Bobby gets along well with children- his foster mom reports that her 9-year old can pick Bobby up and carry him around and Bobby is fine with it. Bobby is healthy and very sweet!
