Laurie Dalaba Derby – 63

MECHANICVILLE – Laurie Dalaba Derby, 63, longtime resident of Brickyard Road, died Saturday, July 22nd at Pathway Nursing and Rehab of Niskayuna, after a ling illness.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 7 PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St, Mechanicville.

Calling hours at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5-7 PM.

Yoonde M. Gargano – 81

 

MECHANICVILLE-  Yolonde M. Gargano, 81 of Grove St,  passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 19th.

There will be no calling hours.  Burial in the family plot in St. Paul’s Cemetery.  Those wishing to remember Yolande in a special way are asked to make memorial contributions in her memory to All Saints on the Hudson Church, 52 William Street, Mechanicville, NY12118.

Father Francis Xavier Gallogly, O.S.A.

Father Francis Xavier Gallogly, O.S.A., died Friday July 7, 2017 in King of Prussia, PA. Born February 19, 1935, in New York, New York, he was the son of the late Patrick and Mary (Charles) Gallogly, He had one brother, the late Patrick Charles Gallogly.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in the Church of St. Thomas of Villanova (Campus Church), Villanova, on Thursday, July 13th.  Interment took place in the Gallogly family plot in Mechanicville.

A Memorial Mass for Father Frank will be held on August 2nd at NOON

at All Saints on the Hudson South Church, 121 North Main Street, Mechanicville, NY 12118.

In his memory, contributions to can be made to the Augustinian Community of which Father Gallogly was a beloved member: The Augustinian Fund - Care of Sick and Elderly, c/o Provincial Offices, 214 Ashwood Road, Villanova, PA 19085-0304.

MECHANICVILLE – Thelma E. Duffney, 72, of Harris Avenue, died Tuesday July 11th, at Evergreen Commons, East Greenbushwith her faithful and dedicated family at her side.

MECHANICVILLE – Joseph A. DeMarco, 84, of Washington Ave, Pruyn Hill, died Monday, July 10, at Samaritan Hospital after a short illness.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 13th from 4 -7 PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 S Main St, Mechanicville,NY 12118. A Funeral Home service conducted by his friend, Rev. WATERFORD - Norman “Gene” Cantrell, 66,  passed away Thursday, July 6th, at Samaritan Hospital, Troy, surrounded by his loving family and close friends.

There will be a celebration of life gathering on Saturday, July 22nd at the Cantrell-Burke residence, So. Hudson Ave., Hemstreet Park, to which all family and friends are welcome.

MECHANICVILLE – Anthony M. Luciano, 92, of Warsaw Avenue, died Wednesday, July 4th, at Samaritan Hospital, Troy, after a brief illness.
