MECHANICVILLE – Mrs. Lorayne M. Coons, 87, of the Mid-Rise Apts, died Sunday, May 5that St. Mary’s Hospital, after a brief illness.
Born in Halfmoon, February 3, 1926, she was the daughter of the late George and Ethel Sparks Satterlee.
Along with her late husband, they operated a dairy farm in Bemis Heights for many years.
She enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, sewing clothes for her family as they grew, and the company of her children and their families.
