Boone pups 01 Boone pups 03 Boone pups 04Boone Litter - These babies found themselves on death row in a high kill shelter in Tennessee. They have been vet checked, vaccinated and wormed. For more information please call the shelter at 518-654-6220 or come by. We are open 7 days a week.

Amelia - This little cutie is a little lab mix who was brought in with 7 siblings. She was the last of her litter to find a forever home. She is up to date on shots, wormed and vet checked. For more information on Amelia please call the shelter at 518-654-6220.
Tubbs and Ash. Another sad story and way too long to get into. We can only say that these guys were thrown out of their home into the cold. I can't imagine the fear that they felt after being inside on their favorite chair to one day face the harsh reality that they could not be indoor kitties anymore. ASAS could not leave them outside. We are filling up very fast and need adoption of our older kitties or else we will not be able to take in and give safe haven to more babies left out in the cold. Please come and adopt. These guys are up to date on vaccines and spayed and neutered. For further information on how you can rescue a kitty you can call the shelter at (518) 654-6220photo 1 Amelia Tubbs Ash

Heather's puppies - These little cuties are Min pin and Dachshund mixes. They are not going to be very big. They were brought into rescue by their mothers owner because he wanted them safe. They have been in foster care for two weeks, vet checked vaccinated and wormed. These babies are around  7 weeks old. For more information please call the shelter at 518-654-6220 or come by to meet them.
Mommy(tiger) & Buddy(Bl & Wht) -This is one of those stories as to why we get angry. This woman moved September 1st and threw her cats out after raising them since they were kittens. We only got 2 and kind of demanded her to go back and find the third. We are updating them on vaccines, flea control, and rabies, but the thought of them having a home one day and not the next makes us cringe. We do not understand, but no matter they are safe now. We are getting overloaded again in our cat room so if someone is looking to adopt a new kitty then please consider coming to ASAS shelter. We want to get our numbers down so ALL OF OUR OLDER CATS ARE JUST A DONATION APPRECIATED. The phone calls will not stop with the oncoming cold weather and we need to make room. Please consider giving them a purrfect home.
